Children and adults with SA/CRS receive great benefits from involvement in sports activities. Individuals with SA/CRS participate in a wide range of athletic activities, from the neighborhood T-ball game to the Paralympic swimming or skiing championships. Participation in able-bodied athletic activities and disability sports programs is key for building self-esteem, increasing health and fitness, and developing strength and agility that will foster increased independence.
