Disability sports and inclusive sports: For Coaches and Athletes

Children and adults with SA/CRS receive great benefits from involvement in sports activities. Individuals with SA/CRS participate in a wide range of athletic activities, from the neighborhood T-ball game to the Paralympic swimming or skiing championships. Participation in able-bodied athletic activities and disability sports programs is key for building self-esteem, increasing health and fitness, and developing strength and agility that will foster increased independence. For information about disabled athletes at school, click here.

There is so much we can do. Take a look at our collection of sports photos in our iSACRA Sports Gallery!

Additionally, here you will find information about the difference between the Paralympics and the Special Olympics.
