We have a new program called “iSACRA Ambassadors” .  Ambassadors can qualify for multiple awards and prizes while also serving an important role.

Who can be an Ambassador?

• any teen with SA/CRS 
• any adult with SA/CRS
• any parent/caregiver of an individual (under 18 yrs of age) with SA/CRS 

What does an Ambassador do?

• Participates in development and implementation of iSACRA programs
• Motivates others to engage in iSACRA activities
• Applies personal skills to support iSACRA activities and programs
• Attends four 1 to 1 and 1/2 hour virtual trainings/meetings between February and June of 2023 (scheduled based on your availability)

Questions and answers

• When will this happen? the primary activity will run from Feb to June 2023
• How much time will it take?  This depends on your schedule and the amount of participation you choose. Increased participation means greater reward opportunity 
• Can both a parent AND a teen both be ambassadors and both qualify for awards? Yes, if the teen is under the age of 18. If over 18, only the adult with SA/CRS, not the parent, should apply.
• What kinds of awards can I receive? The awards range from T-shirts to $500 funds for scholarship, equipment or technology.
• Do I have to be a student to apply? No, you don’t have to be a student and you can be awarded technology or equipment funds instead of a scholarship.
• How do I get the awards? You ‘earn’ points by participating in various activities/tasks. Numbers of points correspond to various award level opportunities.
• Will I get training in what is expected of me? Yes, we will begin with a  short training session in February. The first training session and 3 follow up sessions will be scheduled repeatedly to maximize opportunities to attend, as the sessions (total of 4) are mandatory.
• Can I participate even if I am not in the USA? Yes, although our ability to provide certain awards to you may be limited based on where you live, the taxes, customs regulations, tariffs and fees on your end, but you are welcome to participate no matter where you live.
• Do you require special skills? We believe that everyone has skill sets that can be of value. Whether you are a professional web designer or someone who can send an email or text to a few people or share some ideas, we can probably find a place for you to serve. 
• What is the deadline for applications? Dec 30th, 2022, but spaces are limited so please do not delay!
